K-Taping paediatrics

The K-Taping Paediatrics course for therapists, midwives and physicians.

Who should attend?
Physio/Physical therapists, pediatricians, occupational therapists.

Course Content
Theory: Basic principles of the K-Taping® therapy. The 4 taping
techniques, anatomy, applying the basic taping techniques, combination
rules for specific indications, KUMBRINK CROSSTAPE®,
basic rules for lymphatic taping techniques.

Practice: The application of K-Taping® therapy for a large
number of medical conditions using muscle, ligament, corrective
and fascia correction taping techniques as well as a selection
of lymphatic correction taping techniques.

The following taping techniques will be taught,
amongst others:
Spina bifida, Volkmann’s contracture, Pes
valgus, Genu recuvatum, Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita,
Club foot, Plexus palsies, Poor posture, Correction of the leg
axes, Winged scapula, Cerebral palsy and more.

Prerequisite: therapist / medical training

Duration: 2 days

Certification: IKTP(PE) Certificate by the International K-Taping Academy

K-Taping speech and language therapy

K-Taping speech and language therapy
for speech therapists and linguists.

Theory: Basic principles of the K-Taping therapy. The 4 taping techniques,anatomy, applying the basic taping techniques, combination rules for specific indications, Cross-Taping, basic rules for lymphatic correction taping techniques.

Practice: The application of K-Taping therapy in speech and language therapy for a large number of medical conditions using muscle, ligament,corrective and fascia correction taping techniques as well as a selection of lymphatic correction taping techniques.

The following taping techniques will be taught, amongst others: abdominal muscles, paravertebral muscles, multifidi, pectoralismajor / minor, scalenus anterior / posterior, serratus muscles, sternocleidomastoid, frontal sinus, zygomatic bone, treatment of scars, hypersalivation, temporomandibular dysfunction, stabilisation of the lower jaw, trigeminal neuralgia, facial nerve paralysis, drainage of the face.

During the course, participants will be introduced to treatment of the head using the "12 energies" therapy.The meridian treatment, 12 energies, revitalises the tissue and relaxes the nervous system.

Temporomandibular joint, Facial nerve paralysis, Entire cervical
spine, Upright posture, Hypersalivation, Mandibular stabilization,
Trigeminal neuralgia, Neurovegetative tapes, Scar tape,
Mentalis.
